Alps Coffee by Schreyögg - tradition and modernity in harmony
As a traditional coffee roasting company with headquarters in Northern Italy, Alps Coffee specializes in the production of high-quality espresso and cafè crema. In addition, the roastery creates the finest coffee blends for fully automatic coffee machines such as the Schümli and several other specialties.
Alps Coffee is dedicated to the world of coffee and sees itself as an ambassador of Italian coffee culture. The absolute top quality coffees are now sold internationally. The trend towards quality and thus pure enjoyment confirms the company philosophy of Alps Coffee.
Pure coffees without additives inspire with their aroma richness and natural mildness.
The long-term roasting process reduces acids and gets the best out of the beans. Alps Coffee's extensive range has the right blend for every espresso lover. From organic and Fairtrade to gently decaffeinated espresso and Cafè Crema, everyone will find their favorite coffee.

The chronicle in the overview:
Company foundation in 1890 (today the company is in the 3rd generation).
Until 1987 the company was located in the Laubengasse of Meran
From 1987 move to the new company building - Handwerkerzone, Luis-Zuegg-Straße 40, in Meran (approx. 2000 sqm total area)
1996 new bottleneck - a neighboring hall was bought, where the production was accommodated from now on (thus approx. 4000 sqm total area)
In 2000 purchase of land in Rabland (municipality of Partschins)
From March to Nov. 2001 the new company building took place (9000 sqm land, of which administration and production with 4000 sqm, additional hall with 800 sqm)
In addition, there is a 100% subsidiary/branch in Munich: Schreyögg Deutschland GmbH, which handles sales in Germany.
The sales company in Munich also includes its own retail stores.
Since 1890, the philosophy of the Alps Coffee roasting company has been that the quality of the coffee is the top priority. Peter Schreyögg guarantees with his name for exclusively high-quality, particularly fine coffees with individual aroma and taste. All green coffees used are carefully selected and the individual bean varieties are united in perfect harmony to form a bean blend, also called Blend.
Best fully automatic coffee
If you are looking for a perfect blend for your fully automatic coffee machine you should definitely try the Alps Coffee Schümli Cafe Creme. It is the fully-automatic coffee favorite here at Espresso International, and it stands out above all for its smooth, mild and aromatic taste. You can tell it's roasted a bit lighter than traditional espresso blends, but the crema is uniformly dense and bright, and that's why this Alps Coffee Schümli is great for a "long cup". For traditional espresso and cappuccino, we recommend the Alps Coffee Espresso Exquisit, the flagship of the roastery. A very elegant espresso blend, which impresses with its balance and mildness.
Conclusion: Peter Schreyögg and his son Stefan, who run the roastery in the Merano region in the 4th generation with the utmost meticulousness, stand for espresso quality you can rely on.
