CARROUX CAFFEE
Founded in 1998 by Ulrich Carroux, the Carroux coffee roasting company is one of the youngest in the industry. Clearly set apart from the established coffee suppliers in the filter coffee segment, Carroux has made a name for itself in the espresso coffee product segment.
Here, Carroux Coffee has managed to establish a premium positioning in the "gourmet espresso" segment almost from scratch. Hardly any other company among the young coffee roasters has received more positive press. Carroux is number one, according to the test results of "ManagerMagazin" 11/01.
Carroux coffee is one of the few premium espresso products that is retail-ready, can compete with Italian high-price premium suppliers in terms of quality, but offers significantly greater freshness on the shelf due to its proximity to the product.
Carroux coffee is not a marketing product, but the result of its own development, recipe and production - and therefore successful in the market.
"We roast in small quantities, using the traditional drum roasting process. Very slowly and gently, at low temperatures. This is the only way to achieve a perfect espresso result. And to really meet the good taste of our customers, we run a small espresso bar at Elbchaussee 585 in Hamburg. Daily direct customer contact strengthens our roasting competence and is the best guarantee for optimal product care, perfect quality control - and proximity to the customer, i.e. the market. Last but not least, this store is also our "showroom", which helps to build up and convey our brand image."
