Wir schreiben das Jahr 1956 - Carmine Cortese wagt ein Abenteuer und erfüllt sich einen Traum. Er gründet in Neapel eine eigene Rösterei und erweckt damit einige der besten Espressi Süditaliens zum Leben. Sein Bestreben ist es die typisch neapolitanische Kaffeekultur zu verbreiten. So wurde Caffè Cortese nicht nur als eine Marke geboren sondern als Möglichkeit das meistgetrunkene Getränk der Welt zu verstehen. Eine Tasse Cortese verwöhnt mit einer unglaublichen Aromenvielfalt und man lernt die traditionell regionale Röstung zu schätzen.
