Taste:

Hesperia is a blend with a strong but balanced aroma and an intense, velvety aftertaste. It has a higher caffeine content than the other two Barbera ranges.

Roasting :

Roasted separately, slowly and gently, the beans in the blend are then quickly cooled with cold air, rather than water as is usually done. This air-cooling method allows the beans to retain their typical characteristics and aromas.

The name of the coffee :

The name of this blend has several meanings. In Greek mythology, it means "west" in reference to the setting of the sun, "evening" (daughter of the river Cebren). It is also the Greek name for Italy, as well as the Roman name for Spain and the western parts of Ethiopia. Drinking a high-caffeine coffee in the evening is a subjective choice.
