The gold medallists

Here you will find our award-winning coffees.

These coffees have received at least one gold medal from the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (iiAC). The IIAC only awards the best coffees according to criteria such as taste, aroma, processing, roasting and blending (if applicable). This allows, on the one hand, to highlight the best coffees for customers and, on the other hand, to promote competition between roasters. In this way, we can also expect innovation and high quality in the future. Juries made up of professors and experts from the coffee industry are formed from the more than 12,000 members and 40 nations of the IIAC.

They then conduct blind tastings to ensure the impartiality of the results. Evaluations are conducted according to strict sensory analysis standards. Discover the coffees whose quality and taste have convinced the most demanding judges and which will not disappoint your palate.

International Institute of Coffee Tasters (IIAC)

The International Institute of Coffee Tasters (Iiac) is a non-profit association financed exclusively by membership fees. It was founded in 1993 with the aim of researching and disseminating a scientific method of coffee tasting. Since its inception, the Iiac has held hundreds of courses attended by more than 12,000 professionals from more than 40 countries worldwide. The Iiac has an important scientific committee that plans research to ensure innovation in the sector: its members include university professors, technicians and professionals.

The International Institute of Coffee Tasters organizes the coffee competition "International Coffee Tasting". The objectives of the International Coffee Tasting are: 1. to create a competition with coffees from all over the world to show the hedonic quality of this product from particularly suitable areas, carefully grown, skillfully processed, expertly selected and roasted, and masterfully blended when necessary; 2. to put the best products in the spotlight by showing consumers the best coffees on the market; 3. to motivate producers to pursue quality in its most modern definition, i.e. consumer satisfaction.
