Hermann Hausbrandt was captain of the merchant navy and at the same time a gifted genius. In 1892 he founded the gourmet roasting house Hausbrandt in Trieste. This wonderful coffee is now finally also available as Nespresso® compatible capsules. Today, the Hausbrandt brand is known worldwide and represented in over 70 countries. Caffè Hausbrandt holds a leading position in the national and international coffee industry. The company headquarters is now located in Nervesa della Battaglia in north-eastern Italy.
