Saturno Torrefazione
The art of coffee roasting since 1952
Master roasters trained over decades finally unite the separately roasted varieties to create the unique espresso blends.
The year is 1952 in Alessandria, Italy. A man named Pietro Notti had a great passion for a product that was becoming increasingly popular in the post-war era. Coffee. Notti recognized the potential and began roasting and distributing his own coffee beans. Thus, over the decades, a small workshop became a steadily growing company. At the same time, the artisan tradition and the taste of the end product always remained in the foreground. The quality of the green coffees continued to improve and the blends became more refined and sophisticated. A perfect ratio of Arabica & Robusta, as well as an incomparable balance between body and aroma play stand for the Saturno Espressi.
As proof of the high standard and quality of the coffees, Saturno Caffè has already been awarded several important prizes. These include two gold medals at the "International Coffee Tastig" or the victory of professional barista Filippo Mezzaro at the Espresso Italiano Champion in 2014.
Saturno has been an official member of the National Institute of Espresso Italiano (INEI) since 2004. This is a prestigious seal that is recognized worldwide. The Institute has been protecting and promoting genuine Italian espresso since 1998.
