Bristot - Espresso italiano dal 1919
Bristot Caffe is roasted in Belluno, a small town of about 20,000 inhabitants at the foot of the Dolomites in northern Italy.
Vienna and the Belle Epoque were the initial for Domenico Bristot to start his own roasting company. As a young man he met a roaster there at the turn of the century. In 1919 he returned to Italy and wanted only one thing: to roast the perfect coffee. An intense coffee with a mild aroma and a sweet, fruity taste. A novelty for its time. Today Bristot Espresso convinces with a wide range of flavors.
For many years the roastery was family owned.
In the course of the economic reorientations, the company was transformed into a joint-stock company in order to provide a better basis for the high investments. Still today there is a small store in Belluno, where the daughter of the founder, Anna Maria Bristot, offers homemade specialties, freshly roasted every day.
The high quality requirements in the selection of green coffee as well as in the roasting process lead to the fact that Bristot Coffee was one of the first roasting companies in Italy to be awarded the DIN standard ISO 9001:2000.
Fine and aromatic taste
But the real secret of success lies in the most important thing of all, the taste. Bristot blends are characterized by their fine and aromatic taste, ranging from light nutty aromas to strong, full-bodied coffee flavors.
A real treat!
And it's not just the taste that Bristot has to offer - in 2004, the magazine "Guter Rat" conducted an espresso comparison test. - Bristot emerged as the price/performance winner!
